Thats a pretty sweet rig man, really cool on the lift I had a similar situation with my Trail Dash (had a free givaway going on and picked me) but yours is even cooler being you got the see the facility and all, I'm totally jelous. I am working on my own slow build but I recently decided that I want to buy a house so my jeep is on the back burner for the time being. Just a thought, you mentioned you wanted to keep the stock wheels, they are sahara wheels and are 18's if you get 17's or even 16's you'll save a little cash next time you buy tires. Either way its looking good I can't wait to get my tires on.:thumb:

looking good man I am also on a small budget build especially that mine is a brand new 13 sahara so it did put a big dent in the wallet. The way you did it gave me lots of good ideas.:thumb:

Congrats on the house! And thanks for checking out my thread.

Thanks for the tip, bro. The stock wheels don't look bad to me, but I'm sure they'll start to look a little dated to me soon, so I'll definitely consider a different size next time around. And congrats on the Trail Dash too, I entered that drawing too. How do you like it? Are you using all the bells and whistles on it?

Saharas rock! Lucky you. Don't worry about the size of your budget, it's all the little things that will make your Jeep feel your own creation anyway!

Thanks!

The trail dash is pretty sick theres no way I'll ever use it to its full potential but i am trying. I'm wondering if theres a way to use the camera function on it to hook a gopro under your front bumper and use that instead of a spotter, just have to be carfull not to rip it off. Havn't actually wheeled with it yet though, but i like having it plugged in while rolling down the road, saving a ton of gas by watching the fuel gauge but that'll stop as soon as i get my 35's, but I might swap to 87 performance mode when i do....possibly 93.

Funny thing about the contest is my neighbor won one the very first week and i won the last one.

And this comes a little late, but yes if you ground to a painted surface you may not get a good ground but a simple solution is dont ground to a painted surface. Or do what i did. I went to radio shack got an a plug for my cigarette lighter that could be wired ito. This thing had 2 ports on them and you just open them up and stick the stripped back end of the cb power wire in and then close it, do the same for the ground and then plug i in. That way you can take the cb out when you arn't using it to reduce the risk of it being stolen.

I finally found a great deal on a used XRC rear bumper & spare tire carrier. Under $300!!!
-My wife will probably still say I'm spending too much on my Jeep, -but I don't think it's anything she'd divorce me over, so I'm sure I'm in good shape.

I was so excited, I had to stop off and pick up a few spray cans of duplicolor bed liner to freshen it up before I put it on.
I'll probably be installing this by myself and it didn't come with any instructions. If anyone reads this, and has experience installing this bumper, I'd appreciate any tips.

Also, I want to thank Eddie for the sweet deal on his old Trek Top. No issues with it, and the best part is how modest you were about its condition; it was in near perfect condition.

Installed my new XRC Rear Bumper. Way better than the stock bumper, but I'm really not crazy about that third brake light.

Nice bro! Looks nice.
I hear you about the 3rd brake light. I've been running without one for a while. Oops. ;)
