Yep. Darn compromises! I think there was a mopar high line fender kit that gave the better clearance, but retained the factory jk fender styling, but i dont think they are being sold anymore.

I have 315 12.5 BFG KO2s on my 12 JKR with a 2.5 inch lift. I got them because they run small. At 79 it is not easy for me to get into it. If I live long enough to replace them I plan to go smaller.
