How was it towing with the new truck and trailer?First time out this season. Time to plan something real!!
The drive is close to two hours so we just drove the Jeep. How was it towing with the new truck and trailer?
If you can get a good scanner on it like a snap on or an autel , it should have the code for why the lights are tripping.ABS and traction control lights on and off.
So I was thinking it was the steering wheel not being centered. After pb blaster, torch and pipe wrench steering is perfectly centered. Drove for 25-30 min and the lights came on. Finished whatever it was and drove back home same time with the lights on. Got home, let it rest for 5 minutes, fired it up and the light are gone. Drove for a bit, nothing.
Any suggestions on what could it be? Was thinking to replace speed sensors.
Also over the past few month brake pedal got softer. Could it be related to the lights?
Any feedback will help.
Going to replace brake fluid next week and bleed the system.
Go into live data through the ABS module and check while you're driving the wheel speed for each wheel and see if any of them cut out.I have the scanner
Will try again as last time it showed nothing
Thanks
