How cold is it where you are?

The new job is great! Definitely more enjoyable than stocking sheetrock! I’ve worked in 3 different neighborhoods so far, they have 6 or 7 completely different neighborhoods spanning the 15,000 acre club. Thanks for asking!

Glad to hear it is working out for you!

It's great that you have been able to move up with each change you have gone through 👍

I just got back from teaching a class just outside Thanye Wyoming. The Jeep was telling me it was 4 degrees setting up the range at 6am but it warmed up to balmy 24... I need to start teaching my winter classes in AZ instead

-23 yesterday.... -15 tonight.... that's before wind chills. 4x4 clubs moved the run out another week...lol. Nothing like being on the side of a frozen mountain in the wind at 20 below.

That seems to be in a beautiful location. How far do you travel to teach classes?

That’s definitely not a good place to be especially if you have someone break down.

Looks like we have freezing rain & single digits in store. That’s really cold for this part of the world. The pine trees will break, causing us to lose power for a while.

Abnormally cold for us down on the gulf coast, too. We are prepared, don’t know about the rest of the Houston area.

I typically only travel to neighboring states with the exception of Texas. And I have taught a few classes behind the iron curtain to the west but that’s pretty rare. Typically Colorado Idaho Wyoming Nevada and Arizona. I teach twice a year in northern Washington up near Oak Harbor. I have taught classes as far as Ohio and Tennessee but that isn’t usually on the rotation.

How long does it typically take to make a cup?
It only takes as long as it takes to put in the grounds and pour the water in. Quick stir and press it down. I make my coffee that way every morning and from start to finish (pulling everything out, grinding beans and putting everything away.) Probably 5-7 mins per cup. I use my keurig for hot water at home and have a hot water dispenser at work so that speeds things up.

I’ll have to look into it!

No one has chains, most don’t know to air down tires, and they only have to drive in it maybe once every 15 years or so. It’s solid ice this morning, too.
