It was a good deal, I had too! I found a M38A1 in Randsburg that’s been sitting for 25 years. I’ll use the tub from that as a donor. He’s a crazy some bitch so I’m still working on him to sell it.

I picked up a cheap after market oil gauge to make sure the motor had decent oil pressure. As luck would have it, it’s perfect.

I’m going to try and see if I can get the original functioning again.

Well I hooked it back up and it works. It’s a little high but it is kinda cold oit.

Looks like good pressure to me. Let it run for a while and it'll come down to something more reasonable.
