Engine cleaning

Anyone try 'Purple Power' or 'simple green'??

They both work pretty well on grease and grime.

Basically spray the engine down with water, spray some of stuff on it, let it soak for about 10mins then spray it off!

Just my 2 cents,

I fill one of these bug sprayers with Simple Green. That skinny long arm lets me get into all those hard to reach areas. I soak it and let it sit for a few minutes. Then just spray it with the hose.

I do this once a month. My 2001 TJ looks like it have a brand new(ish) engine.

I use the bug sprayer with a mixture of hot water and simple green - water 1st then simple green so it doesn't foam then rinse with low pressure, works great.
