E-brake line attachment at rear tub

What is everyone doing in regards to re attaching the e-brake lines to the tub, above the rear axle area after installing a lift? I just un threaded the bolts as low as they could go but still be secure. I've noticed they are rubbing pretty bad on the coil mounts.

I've attached a photo from Project JK so everyone knows what I'm talking about. In the instructions on that site, it just says to unbolt them before removing the factory coils but it doesn't say anything about re attaching them.

I just didn’t reattach mine. Not sure if that’s the proper way of doing things tho.

On my old lift kit, it came with a drop down bracket. The bracket attached to the tub and the line to the bracket.

I would completely remove that bracket then disconnect the lines and reroute them under the gas tank fill neck and let them hang.

Mine have been hanging for about 2.5 years with no issue. Kinda forgot about it

I’ve never given it any thought, I haven’t had any issues either.

Yeah, you can let them hang. If it makes you feel better, you could zip tie them.

As mentioned, I just let them hang. The foam rubs a little but no big deal.
