Just for clarification, I can be slow, that's the Sunoco by the high school right? I tend to be one of those landmark kind of guys.. over yonder past the big rock, when you get to the stream go left 1/4 mile. :yup:

I also hope this forecast stays the same, granted it will probably change 4-5 times before Saturday.

How lucky can a guy get. Return home from deployment in time to have turkey dinner with the family and the catch a head cold that has taken up residence in my chest.

Going to gracefully bow out for not only bing sick but to be selfish and take my boy fishing just the two of us.

I was so looking forward going, but I have so little time when they think dad is cool.

Yes correct it's next to the highschool. Look for the red and silver jeeps at the Sunoco. Hopefully, it's been nice all week.

How far is the trail from our 10am meeting point?

My best bud is meeting me to join us on the ride. (Riding passenger with me)

He's coming down from Tampa & I'm curious, is the 10am meeting point close or can I have him meet us in the entrance of the trail?

Please let me know so I can give him instructions.

Sounds good guys! The trail is actually about 4 miles from the meeting point. It's only two turns and then a couple miles down a dirt road to the gate. (Name of dirt road to gate is Holopaw Groves Road). This road will show up on GPS.
 
The wife and I are hoping she can make it. Horses are our life and there's a show we are hoping it will get canceled. I'm a sure thing but she loves going Jeeping.
 
I myself get to partake in the annual City of Hollywood "Candy Cane Parade" on Saturday.......it's something me and my girl do every year and unfortunately it just so happen to coincide with the trail ride date........I enjoy the parade and participate cause my Jeep club is in it and it's always a good time.......sure would've loved to join you guys in Holopaw for the ride though.........I'm sure there will be other future get togethers (Meet n Greets....Pub n Grubs.....Trail rides.....etc)......so my apologies for missing this one gentlemen. .....hope you all have a great and safe time.......enjoy yourselves.......that's what it's all about.......good times with good people :rock:
