Hey Everyone!
Not sure when the last time I posted was... Anyway, I still love my JK and the Jeep community but I haven't had any time to get off road
I'll ask my question first: I'm getting a full detail done on Wednesday. A friend's doing it, he has the experience and all the equipment, and I'm going to help. I saw online that if the front seats are removed then you have to take it to a dealer to reset the airbags. Is this true? That seems crazy but this one guy online was calling another guy an idiot for removing the just the bolts...
Is it even worth the effort to remove the seats? I think I've got enough dirt and junk everywhere in my JK to warrant it but then I've never done it to know difficulty level versus benefits.
Last week I had new tires (Nitto Ridge Grappler), four new Fox shocks, and a Fox ATS stabilizer bar installed! My death wobble was out of control. I had someone trying to work on it but he didn't really know Jeeps. Then I found out a Jeep only custom shop moved near me. I'm really happy with their work so far!
After my detail I plan on putting on my front tube doors and taking the top off. It's been too long since I've done either.
Hope All are well,
fat
