TMI I don't wanna know! LOL :idontknow:
Maybe..maybe not
I am very surprised they did not figure out how to make it work without needing to be "tethered" to an iphone. As it is, it seems to be just a nerdy piece of "look what I've got". It provides little to no additional function over the iphone itself. Also surprised they did not feature Beats audio more.
I could see the watch being a great gym/workout companion if you could use it without needing your iphone nearby and if it had a way to "airplay" your music to a set of wireless Beats earbuds.
And WTF? Does Apple not realize that some people in this world are left-handed and wear their watches on their right wrist?
Its gonna bomb... what a waste. :icon_crazy: Steve Jobs would never have approved this direction.
Lol. Jobs had a few less than stellar creations himself. (I do think the watch will bomb though).
....... some people in this world are left-handed
True, but as the years clicked by he gained a better feel for what worked and what didn't in the publics eye. Since his passing Apple has made so may bad moves... iOS7 is the perfect example. It sucks and I use it every single day. iOS6 was SO much better.
Im an Apple guy... hell my family is, and so is my company, with the exception of 1 division.
Proof yet again that God makes mistakes too, and he had a sense of humor to not fix it.
.....I can't imagine being without my MacBook Pro and 27" TB display.
I'm much more excited about the moto 360: https://moto360.motorola.com/
It's round, so reminds me of an actual watch. It doesn't carry the hefty iTax (100 bucks less). It also plays nice with all of those unfortunate lefties in the world :thumb:
Anyway, poo on the Apple Watch!

Agreed on all points...and I'm an Apple guy too although I didn't make the complete jump to Mac until last year. Now, I can't imagine being without my MacBook Pro and 27" TB display.
Since I am a true watch guy with more watches than I care to admit having, I found this article on the Apple Watch to be about the best take on the device since it is strictly from a traditional watch reviewer's perspective and not from the digital lifestyle tech nerd angle. Anyway, it's a decent read and solidified the notion that although I like the Apple Watch, it is definitely not for me.

I don't know your tastes in watches but judging from the mere fact that you cited and appreciated that article, I would guess we probably have similar tastes in watches. Though this would not look, feel, or function like anything else in my collection, I still think it's damned brilliant, especially at the sub $500 price point. It will never replace the hand made mechanical timepieces, it does create it's own "sport" niche that I always felt was lacking in the market....a finely designed digital sport/hear rate monitor/gps etc watch. Wouldn't mind if it boasted 100+meter water resistance, but in my minds eye it seems like Apple created what would happen if Polar married Panerai and created a good piece for the gym with pricing for the masses.
