As everyone mentioned, grab a wheeling buddy and hit the trails. There's nothing like real world experience to learn from. Start slow and test your abilities as a driver as well as the abilities of your rig. I started by myself (i have no real wheeling buddies) and just slowly worked my way up from the small stuff. Try to learn as much about your rig as possible, the more you know about it the more comfortable youll be as a driver. When I started to learn the capabilities of my jeep it made me much more comfortable on the trails knowing what the jeep could and couldn't handle. Just take it slow and have fun! Oh and take care of your rig, it'll thank you when the time comes. Happy wheeling!
