I've used this kit from O'Reilly's on two occasions. It stopped the cracks dead in their tracks.

Looking around online, 60 seems to be cheapest. You may be able to get a kit and do it yourself. It's not tough. Drill a small hole, use a suction like tool to fill it in with resin, then a UV light cures the resin. That's how we did it.

it's been a long time since I opted for the repair, but last time I had one done it was $40 and a windshield shop actually used to occupy a grocery store parking lot corner with a pop-up canopy which made it more convenient than going to their location.

Yeah, I don't have windshield coverage on this Jeep

Neither do I but I was told that they pay to fix those small chips as they’d rather do that than for a entire replacement.
