Left hand brewing in Longmont is one of my favorites. Partially for the beer and partially due to their contributions to a charity I hold near and dear. Wow getting old sucks...

I second that. Lefthand is great. Another good newer one is Fate in Boulder, great restaurant too. And Tommyknockers in Idaho Springs.
 
My top 3 local brews:
Left Hand, Nitro Milk Stout.
O'Dells, Levity
Breckenridge Brewery, Vanilla Porter.

Honorable mention: Wynkoop, Rail Yard.
 
If anyone is into wine Four Leaves Winery in Durango is fantastic. I have a bottle of Port I have been saving, since last summer, to celebrate some (any) special occasion. Worth checking out for sure.

If you go through golden, hit cannonball, mountain toad, GCB, and of course coors. They are all within a few blocks of each other.

China Wall by Tarryall usually isn't too snowy and it is a fun moderate trail with a few good obstacles. We hit up Saran Wrap last weekend but that was before the big snow we just got so it probably has a foot.

Chinaman Gulch out by Buena Vista is usually good in the winter as well. It's below tree line and doesn't normally get hit with a lot of snow.

I just read an article in the paper this morning with some data that shows it's actually the highest it's ever been, and Denver is one of the only cities to have actually exceeded the previous pre-crash price levels because the economy is doing well and growth has been constant since the 90s.
