A Dirt Head's JK

Most likely you will not listen to an “old farts” here who will try to reason with you and will be right to stick with 35’s. However you did not listen and pulled off the truck thing therefore I’ll be the devils advocate and say 37’s it is. Take your time, get the parts together little by little and make it work. When I had 35’s years ago and some of the guys I wheeled with were on 37’s I was adamant to go up. Got a bunch of parts but had to sell the Jeep, yet after a few years got back into JL and made my dream come true to have it on 37’s.
Good luck!

On another note, the Jeep is due for a new set of Nittos very soon. The question is, since I’ve got the truck to drive 99% of the time now, do I get another set of 35s? Or bump to 37s and add what is needed to run them confidently as I go?

This is mainly because my current set of 35s have lasted 65k+ miles and just over 4 years. Of course, I’d still plan to wheel but just within my limits (as I do now anyway).

What do you guys think?
Go straight to 42s.
