2026 NEW YEAR KICK OFF RUN

Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to drop out.

On my way into work today, I noticed a clunk when moving my steering wheel. I did a quick check and I think my stock drag link finally bit the dust. I'm seeing/feeling some lateral deflection in my drag link end on the pitman arm. I'm going to dive deeper into it tomorrow and see if it might be something else. I wasn't planning on upgrading my steering yet, but I don't get to make those decisions sometimes :ROFLMAO: You would think they would make these parts last longer than 28,000 miles
Definitely a bummer but an easy fix if you can get the parts. Let me know and happy to work on some discounts for ya if it helps so you can still join us (y)

That’s about the mileage that my death wobble started at and it’s now at the 31,000 mark and still no clue as to what’s causing it even though the whole front end has been replaced at this point.
Not dropping out yet but been without my truck for well over a month…

Speaking of parts. You dont happen to have any 3" rear bump stops for a JK laying around the shop that you could bring to the run do you? I've been running 4" (came with the lift) and I'd like to get a bit more up travel. Mel recommended 3" when paired with the 4" plush rides.

Well that sucks. Are you bowing out for sure or is this still just a maybe? Would sure suck if you couldn't make it over something that can totally be fixed.

Yeah, I'll bow out. If it is the drag link, I doubt that I would be able to get the new part and install it in time. It's a bummer, but it's the way things go sometimes.

I'll take a look, I think I do actually have some but will confirm.
