19?? Willy’s Flat fender

The Original Smartass
So I picked up another project Jeep. I’ve previously own part of it anyways.

If any recalls my M38A1 build, I had a donor Jeep that I only used the good fenders and grill from. https://www.wayalife.com/threads/flip-1953-m38a1.51703/page-6

Well, I gave that running gear to a friend of mine Ian Roussell, I think in 2020 sometime. He then went on to use the M38A1 running gear on a CJ2A tub. The tub came from his friend, whom got the jeep from the Tejon Ranch. He’s done a lot of work getting a motor in, and everything lined up to match. Suprisingly enough, It doesn’t look to bad.

It’s titled to a 1955 Willy’s, the transmission, transfercase and motor have been rebuilt, I just need to do the finish work.

It does come with a shit ton of parts, I’ll be posting on the build.

I plan to get it running, but my end goal is to build this into a prototype Willys from 1941.

Willys MA78621, one of approximately 45 known 1941 models in the world, an estimated 20 of which are restored.

So buying one is a rare option, and I don’t feel bad cutting this one up.
