How'd the tires do with the fenders?

Not bad still have a lil rub when fully turned on an angle. About to put a 3" inch lift in and I think I should be good after that

Yeah, you're pretty close there. With the tire on the rock, were you able to look at your bump stops to see how they're sitting?

I didn't actually. The new lift I have says it comes with upgraded bump stops for it. It's an iron rock 3"

33 is still a lot of tire for 3 inch lift on a WJ. I would research how to set bump stops properly especially since you will have it all apart again. It's way easier to do with coils and sway bar links off. The easiest way to describe it is with coils removed, put tires back on and jack up that side of the axle where your tire is close to hitting the fender (where ever you decide you want it to stop), then look at how close your bump stop is to the axle. Keep in mind the bump stop compresses as well, it's not a fully rigid piece of rubber. Then adjust accordingly. Keep in mind you also have to concern yourself with shocks bottoming out.
Basically you want your axle to hit full bump before your tires hit the fenders AND that your shocks don't bottom out as well.

Also, I was told by two WJers that rock crawl way harder than I do, that the brake lines do not need to be extended if you disconnect your sway bar links. Research this on your own, but the lines run parallel to your LCAs and don't seem to be affected until you get into 6 inch lifts.

OK cool thanks, now that I think about it the bumpstops on it were crap so I'll def upgrade those next

If the new kit comes with them, use them, but then just figure out if you have to build some extension brackets to make sure they are at the correct height. A 3 inch lift kit on a WJ probably assumes a much smaller tire than what you have. When I did my 4 inch lift kit, they said the biggest tire I should run is a 31. Well I did 32 and will soon be doing 33s. I know I'll have to adjust bump stops at that point.

Here's a chart that is actually pretty accurate if you don't go too custom. You'll see that 3 inches will take some work to get 33s right, they're not even listed in that category, lol. Don't get discouraged, just make it work. Your rig is sweet-looking, and I know you can make it all work out.

I have the same 3 inch lift and they advertise the largest tire you can run is 31's without trimming and 32's with so your 33's may still be a tight fit for sure. Those flares should help. I am not sure what their definition of trimming is. I am interested to see how this goes for you.
