2024 NEW YEAR's KICK OFF RUN

A great weekend, with great people! Took a casualty Sunday. Officially the most expensive tire I’ve done in 😂😭. Totally my fault going too fast and having too much fun at 9psi. Made it all the way back to UT though lol.

2024 NEW YEAR's KICK OFF RUN

I am up for anything as long as it involves meeting cool people and Jeeping. Also went ahead and signed up for the "hardcore" Dirt Experience. Anyone know some good camp sites? Contemplating taking the motorhome out. Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post!

2024 NEW YEAR's KICK OFF RUN

Late to the party, but we would love to join. My name is Jesse Keller and my wife is Lizzy. We are thinking of staying a week or two before I have to be back to help guide for the Jamboree in Hurricane, UT. If anyone will be around longer than just New Years, we would love to link up for...

    Ready to buy first Jeep

My advice is a JL Rubicon in it's simpilest engine form. In my opinion that would be a 3.6 V6 with no etorque mild hybrid junk. Or obviously the 392 if it's in your budget. I know many like their 2.0. I would personally not want a small forced induction Fiat engine. My drifting and time trials...

    Jeep Troubles JL

After much thought, this is what you need. 1. Angry bird grill 2. 8" lift on short arms 3. 24" chrome wheels with 35" tires 4. A collection of ducks to litter with 5. A pack of Bud Light 6. A spare tire cover with something cute on it 7. Chinese lights literally everywhere 8. Subscribe to the...

    Jeep Troubles JL

A rubicon with 37s and a 2.5" lift can do 99% of the trails in Moab for example. What do you need ground clearence for? You said you don't wheel, right?

    Jeep Troubles JL

I think it's definitely a terrain specific problem. It's always the ledges here in UT, especially undercut ones that snag. Get rid of the stock sliders asap. I bent my passenger side slider enough that it put a nice crease in my lower door.

    Jeep Troubles JL

If you drop the lift height to something reasonable for that tire size you won't need any of that.

    Jeep Troubles JL

I see people get hung up on that rear control arm bracket all the time. I don't get why they don't move it up like evo and others have done.

    Jeep Troubles JL

For 35s or 37s I'd be running 2.5 or 3 at the most. While I was waiting for coilovers and axles my Jeep was running a 2.5" spacer lift. Rode similar to stock and performed well off road.

    40's -vs- 42's..... Ready.. Discuss!

My personal experience is that 42s provide some advantage to 40s. It depends how hard of trails you do. There have been a few obstacles so far that freinds with similar built JLs have not been able to make. We are talking 9 rated trails bordering on buggy level here in Sand Hollow (Chain...

    GMRS Licensing?

Thank you, that is the point of using radios so we CAN be wheeling together lmao

    GMRS Licensing?

I'll often join up with a larger group many hours after they have left the trailhead. I assume you cover ground much slower old timer. Hell, you could rig up a ohm sounder and send out telegraphs 😂

    MOAB/Colorado July 24 - August 4 (Complete)

The poison Spyder, golden spike and gold bar loop is an awesome day. Personally my favorites are Prichett, Cliffhanger and Moab rim. If you do Prichett be careful on down and dirty. It's totally washed out and the Normal line from years past is almost impossible. There's a new route to the...

    GMRS Licensing?

Also the big advantage over cb is range. When I started jeeping 17 years ago CB was mainly line of sight or if really well tuned a few miles in the wide open areas. With my hard mount gmrs Radiooddity DB25 I've talked with freinds in the desert over 35 miles away. Even in the San Juan...

I refuse to ever get one. Call it civil disobedience. I believe in free airwaves.
