I have mine mounted in the center console. I wanted a nice and clean install where it was out of the way since this is my dd. It's hard to hear on the road when the arm rest is down but when I am on the trail it is plenty loud.

I wouldn't mind a new exhaust. Better gas mileage right ;)

Did you hit the Nate Harrison grade? I went up it yesterday. It was very tame until you hit the snow line, then it was mud central.
