    Spring issue

Yes exactly very lame.. I spoke with Metalcloak and they are standing by their kit. They suggested going back to the shop that installed it and getting them to look at and fix it.... not ideal because I lost trust in that shop but they did the install less than a year ago so they should stand by...

    Spring issue

LOL sounds about right, I just watched that entire lift install video you did and feel inspired to try to fix this myself. Fingers crossed.

    Spring issue

That is exactly what I was thinking, they are the Rocksport long travel shocks that come with the Metalcloak 2.5" lift.

    Spring issue

So this is a new one for me, the other day I noticed noise in the rear when I hit a bump so I looked around under my Jeep. What I found was the rear drivers spring has shifted off the perch and is not right against my axel and track bar. Has this happened to anyone before and if so is it...

    Hello Again

Hello all.. just giving a quick hello to everyone. I stepped away from anything Jeep related, I almost sold my Jeep but reconsidered so here I am. I have a 2014 JK and live in South Jersey. Looking forward to getting back on the trails. Thanks, Kevin

To long arm or not long arm??

Well as expected didn't really come out the way it sounded in my head. My Jeep drives great I am very happy with it. I was just looking into better options. The EVO springs are definitely something I am considering, just trying to decide on a shock to pair with them.

To long arm or not long arm??

Its not so much that I am unhappy, it's a 2 door Jeep so it drives as expected. I am running 35" trail grapplers at 28 - 30 psi so that part is fine. I was just considering upgrading my lift as it is about 5 years old. There is a issue with my trackbar contacting my front diff cover but I am...

To long arm or not long arm??

Hey all, So I have a 2014 JK with tons of work into it already and am thinking of upgrading my lift. Currently I have the AEV 2.5" lift and a full set of metalcloak control arms. I spoke with 3 different shops, 2 are telling me a long arm kit with dramatically improve my ride on road and off...

    Lift upgrade

I hear you guys on the plush ride compared to the AEV.. but I am wondering the difference compared to the Metalcloak.

    Lift upgrade

So I am currently running the 2.5" AEV Dual sport lift and I want to upgrade it. I have already upgraded all of my arms to Metalcloak adjustable arms. The local shop near me is recommending Metalcloak springs pared with the rocksport shocks. I was leaning towards the EVO plush ride springs but...

    Re-lift questions..

I appreciate the feedback. New coils may be a good direction as the AEV coils are stiff. I also will take a look at the sway bar.. Thank You

    Re-lift questions..

Yea it just sorta seems like when I take bumbs/potholes at lower speeds especially it hits really hard. I am assuming that lowering the psi will help a bit but I just feel like it should feel so hard. Also I started getting a clanking type noise from the front drivers, which again seems to be...

    Re-lift questions..

Sorry about that.. i forgot to type that. I am at around 32-33 psi. I will definitely drop it and see how that helps. I think the main issue is that I am just not really happy with the performance on and off road. The lift is over 3 years old and last year I did a ton of upgrades with the hopes...

    Re-lift questions..

Hey... I am running 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers... about a year old and under 10k miles on them.

    Re-lift questions..

I am recently coming back to this site... its been a while. So I have a 2014 JK with a AEV 2.5" lift and I am thinking of going up by 1". I have 35s with no plans of going bigger. I also have a full set of Metal Cloak control arms and a JKS adjustable trackbar, so I am thinking I can only go...

    Fr axle swap/gears and lockers

Hey All... So right now my budget allows for me to swap my front axle, new gears and air locker in the rear. I have a 2014 JK, the quote I got was for a little over 10k. Dynatrac front axle, rear axle re-geared to 4.88 gears and arb lockers. Just looking for some opinions, I feel like this is...

    KC Lights Wiring assistance

Hey All.. I am looking for some easy to understand assistance with wiring up my KC Hilites KCL-151 Halogen lights to a switch system. In my case I have the Rough Country MLC-6 switch, which is basically exactly like an Spod, having built-in relays and fuses. I am including the wiring diagram...

KC wire harness to Rough Country MLC-6 switch controller

I picked up set of KC lights and it comes with this wire harness with a in-line relay and fuse that all wire to their switch. What the heck do I hook up to my RC switch? Thanks for any help you all can provide.

    Ball joints or something else?

So I noticed yesterday that when I turn my steering wheel slightly at lower speeds I hear a sound, kind of like a knock. I am not feeling any excessive vibration when driving at normal speeds. I am wondering if anyone has experienced that type of noise. It happens when I turn my wheel less than...
