Random (non-Jeep) Shit You’re Working On....

Cut in and made sliding doors for the barn. One in the end so it’s easier to toss hay in and one on the side to let the retards out right into their pasture. Can’t wait for that the first time. Probably shit themselves because it’s something new. I’m sure there’ll be an update on that….IMG_7450.jpegIMG_7452.jpegIMG_7448.jpegIMG_7447.jpeg

More K-10 Chevy stuff…

Took this fucker for its first ride since 2008, almost side swiped a mustang in the first 10 minutes.

I put 75 miles on it and heat cycled everything a few times.

Had a few trouble codes; CPS relearn, O2 sensor, and torque converter lock up. I found the O2 problem, I put one of the wires in the wrong hole on the ECM (That’s what she said!). I’m hoping the computer wouldn’t lock the torque converter due to the O2 not reading, I’ve read that’s a possibility.

Other than the MIL, the slip yoke had a weep hole in it and it slung trans fluid on everything

nice work, truck looks great!

Lasso that mustang, add a little more horsepower

Got some more time to work on the van. Installed the sPod BantamX 8 switch system. (I know I know sPod). They did get bought by Bestop (patent company of Baja Designs too) a few years ago and aren't owned by the original dipshit. They also had the cleanest, OEM, looking option. Was looking at switch pros but the mounts looked terrible. Plus I've gotten to know the Baja Designs guys pretty good and they got me a smokin deal on everything. Now to try and find time to install some lights.

Does look good up there. 👍🏻

Yeah i think its the cleanest look. The color is a little different and that will bother me but I'll get over it. The mounts I found for switch pros in that same location look like an after thought. Plus a couldn't find and vehicle specific mounts for their PCM under the hood so I'd have to fab up something.

Maybe you could find some spray paint that would be closer, like a flat gray or something.
