The Dometic stuff is nice. They're big in the RV/Travel Trailer industry and their stuff seems to hold up well. Wife's trailer was built in 2017 or 18 I think and all the appliances are still going strong.

I have a hard time justifying the pricing on the ARB version. They're nice too but IDK if they're worth the premium

Same. I have the ARB in my JK and it’s been great, but I won that during an ARB sponsored trail at EJS- so the price was right.

I thought I’d try the Dometic and with the sale it was a no brainer. Will report back on how cold my beer stays.
 
I have the CF35 Dometic, use it with their PLB40 battery.
the plb40 charges while I drive, when the Jeep is off, the plb keeps the cooler going.
I used the dual plug hard wire with the screw in 12v outlets.
tried a bluetti but the 12v plug wouldn't stay in and it wouldn't charge properly when driving

Great info, thanks for sharing that. I will probably do that same set up.

The dometic’s are nice. We sell a lot of them. They do make a hardwire kit for when your ready to do that
