This is why so many people talk shit about wayalife

Ok, allow me to weigh in here since after all this is a thread I started and the shit talking is about me lol I have always, for a lack of better words, looked up to Eddie and Cindy for their videos/information in the jeep world. For the longest time I could care less about jeeps, a few years ago after watching some of the videos it made me want one, first a Tj then I purchased a Jk. So its safe to say they're the reason I have one today. Was my comment about Wayalife out of line? Very. But all I've ever heard or read about the Wayalife forum (users not the owners) has been nothing but negative. I was on another forum the other day looking at tech articles about dana 60 swaps or swapping the stock dana 30 out for a 44, no useful information on that site what so ever. So I came to Wayalife. Yes my first post was about looking for a dana 44 (it was on my mind), I DID check the rules and FAQ section because on another forum it clearly states inactive members were not allowed to post in classifieds. I checked Wayalife's out and at the time said no posting items for sale, but it DID NOT say anything about posting in the 'wanted' section, so I did, then continued on throughout the forum searching tech threads and commenting on other threads. My statement was not about the guy with the yellow jeep (sorry cant remember your user ID) but the other, "this is not craigslist"... obviously its not. Suddenly it seemed as if everything I've heard about Wayalife forum (again, not the owners) were true, running off, not being helpful etc., so I got defensive, yes, the sarcasm with the looking under a Rubicon and so on is just funny, bullshit is bullshit I get that. I posted this thread BEFORE commenting on other threads and such as I was doing. What difference does it make if a fellow jeeper is needing a part and cant find it but hasn't been on for years and commented or posted numerous threads? I thought this community was supposed to be helping. You do not know everyones intentions from the start, it would be an entire different story if I had went on to post several other threads or inquiries about buying an axle after this one, then yes obviously there would be different intentions.

So stick around, contribute, have fun, water under the bridge. Time will tell. As far as that other shit you read on the internet...those are people who don't know how to untie the knots in their panties and live to hate this place.

And as far as a 44 axle, check with Dynatrac. It's more money, but if you are planning on upgrading why not do it the right way? Way heavier duty axle.

I was thinking about just finding a stock one for now because we all know how long a 30 last with 37's+... and then going ahead and swapping to a dana60/sterling10.5

I once, on another site mentioned I had something for sale and got banned for life. The site owner said I posted in the wrong location and that was a violation of site rules. I responded back about realizing my error to no avail. Banned for life. At least here you can take your lumps and move on. Oh, and I wasn't a newbie on the other site. I had many posts and had been a member for a few years. He just had a zero tolerance policy.

Will do [emoji106]

Good to see you take this road instead of the other alternative. Most guys when they get poked like you did go full retard & make asses of themselves & get stuck in jail. Take a few good-natured lumps & move on. Everyone here has had an episode or two so let it go, contribute if you think you have an answer or good idea & see how it goes....

Don't buy a stock 44 to run 37s then just upgrade to tons. That Dana 30 will last to put a Dana 60 in the front just learn how to drive it and understand it. You will spend the money twice and not get all back for what you invested in the 44

Good to see that you don't have paper thin skin! Give a wave, tell us about your Jeep and maybe post a pic. Welcome from Wisconsin! [emoji1588]

Boom! I run a locked Dana 30 on stock 4.10 gears with 35s it has held up fine and have done some difficult trails with it. I just don't blast it because I know what it is. I will swap to tons at one point just not worth double paying

You have any sleeves or trusses or just the locker? I've regeared mine to 5.13's, the longer I could make it last the closer those dynatrac's come into the picture. Would love those over a junk yard 60 setup, but the $12k+ price tag kills, especially when I'm about to buy another house and just bought the jku [emoji854]

You're the same person that follows the gps when it says left turn and it's off a cliff. Get fucked.
