Dave, I am thinking of pulling the trigger on this setup, thanks guys! I will check a couple vendors tomorrow. I need to measure my setup, I think I can repurpose mine or at least the pipe to back. I have and had Jeeps with mid drop and fumes will come up if dropping under the rig. Remember guys carbon monoxide will not necessarily bring up exhaust smell and you do not want that stuff in the cab on the trail.
Where are you finding this got a link?

a local shop, where did you order from.
See post #21a local shop, where did you order from.
Dave I will give you a holler. Pretty sure it hsould not be an issue, I have pretty much teh same setup on the Tj. Smog wise for the exhaust all they care about is engine to manifold\header and that the cat must be in place . Beyond the cat you can run no muffler if you had too. My TJ dumps to a muffler right after the cat under the Jeep.I would double check that it will pass smog. Quadratec says its for off-road only so I'm guessing you won't pass visual here in Cali.
So your saying nobody should buy this exhaust setup based on your current and past issues with carbon monoxide poisoning? I'm curious why there haven't been any claims against the manufacturer..
Install instructions show 17263 as the muffler for the Dynomax 39522 system..Tenn very clean! Would you be able to check the exhaust part number (I believe it should be printed on the exhaust)? i.e. DYN17230
What I am considering is adding the muffler in the location and keep the factory pipe and chop\reroute so it still dumps behind the Jeep on driver's side.
Note some manufacturers indicate "offroad use only" on some exhaust systems (liability? DB noise? not sure).
