There were "no smiles" for a few minutes, but it's all good now, one more caliper bolt and we'll be good to go!

Somehow I lucked out with a sweet shock boot mod too, now my Jeep can literally fly, you gotta get one! :cheesy:

Out of every thing we did that shock boot mod took the longest.

Is it Sunday yet?!

Scott, are you able to post a pin to the trailhead? What is the plan for meeting in the morning if we are driving up rather than camping? Anyone gonna meet us at the trailhead at 9? And that's actually 9 Scott! Not a Ken 9! :cheesy::cheesy:

We will be driving up and meeting there at 9. It's really an easy place to find. The directions he has at the beginning should be good.

It's not Sunday, but it can't come soon enough! I'm really looking forward to this.

Trailhead is right off 80 at the Eagle Lakes, but I'll send a pin if I can find one. Anyone else let me know if you want me to send to you. I'll be there right at 9ish... With a Ken adjustment. ;). If not, we'll be camping just a bit down Fordyce. We should have cell signal too.

Also, someone left nice set of Allen wrenches here on Monday. I'll bring them, not sure who it was.

Anyone leaving from, our going through Sac want to drive up together? Sunday morning.

Feel free to join our caravan! I think there will be 4 Jeeps coming from the Bay Area and we should be coming right through Sacramento on 5 connecting to 80. Maybe meetup at the NE end of town at the 80/BUS80 junction?

Will do. I'm right at 80 and greenback, so I'm on the way.

I agree! The wife and I are super excited! Got the CB+Firestik installed and tuned. Was able to talk to Panda's Jeep roughly 3 miles away give or take, so I think we're ready.

According to Google Maps, the trail head is a two-and-a-half hour drive from Antioch, so I'll be leaving around 6AM if folks are trying to meet up for the drive there. Not sure what time we'll be rolling through Sac. But I'll yell into the CB - "Breaker breaker one-six" to let you know CW McCaw and his convoy are rollin thru watchin for smokies ten-four good buddy.....

OK, just kidding....we wont be doing that... :cheesy:

Here is a topographical of the trail if it helps to locate directions... http://www.everytrail.com/guide/signal-peak-4x4-trail-california/map#poi-0

Perfect! How about we meet at the 80E on-ramp at 7:30 then we can meet up with the Rccrwlr gang at 7:45 in Rocklin? :thumb:

That works.

If you get off at Sierra College and go straight through the light, there is a Starbucks in that Walmart parking lot. We will be there

I was going to do a nice levee road stroll up 160 to Sac, but if I can meet up with you guys, I'll go 4 east to I5 to meet up in Stockton if that'll work. I assume you're going 580-205-5?

Sounds like a plan! We'll do our best to nail 7:45 but we all know how getting Jeepers to move is right? It's like hearding cats! :cheesy: (and trust me, I'm one of those cats too!)

Yup, 580-205-5. How about 6:30-6:45 at the W Hammer exit off of 5?

I'll probably try to meet you there as well. I want to swing by Adalberto's and get a California steak burrito :)
