Scorpicon Build Thread

Just getting around to checking out the Rubicon aftermath. With just over a month of life, all the Slabs got to kiss some rocks....

The stock gas tank skid did its job as well...

I'm happy the stock diff cover didn't get ripped off prior to the install of my Solid diff covers

And this is all the damage, from ripping off and folding, that the stock rear fender flare experienced (plus a few broken clips). This is why I'll never go aftermarket steel flares...

Those look sexy all scratched up :thumb:

I think slabs may be the only wheel ever you actually can't wait to scratch up.

My neighbor asked me WTF I did to my beautiful wheels. I told them they are now sexier and he just shook his head. Guess we see things differently :idontknow:

My rear dif looks very similar. I'll be going new dif cover very soon as my seal isn't in pristine shape anymore.

Yeah, it appears to be BARELY dripping from the gap created. I'm going to have to install the Solid covers that I've had sitting for over a year

A little paint maybe?

Well...the sliders took a few good hits, and one has a pretty good bend from a large rock.....but after the "trail repairs" it's almost not noticeable.

I too think they look sexier with some battle scars. :yup:

My drip is not bad, but enough to warrant putting some cardboard down. Gonna try to get new dif cover put on this week.

Amazing what a little rattle can do. Like the rings (wheel guards in my case), I like the character of my sliders now even more with a little scuff. More "personalize."

I meant to post these up, but work and life got busy. This past Wednesday, Kim and I got to check off one of our bucket list items and we took a dive from 13K feet!

Tandem....is for chicks!!! Kidding man. Fucking rush right. The summer I turned 18 my dad and I did solo skydiving from 15,000 out at California City. One of the best rushes I've had and one I'll never forget. If you ever get the chance, do solo as guiding your own chute and landing is like nothing else.
