I would have to say the videos initially due to me looking into getting a jeep and seeing what they could do, then I read just about everything on project-jk and all the write ups before finally getting my jeep and I stopped lurking on the forum. Then finally joined up to be part of the family that we have here, even with the random fights that usually get entertaining. I can say that everyone I have met on here and in person is nice and inviting.

Couldn't agree more :standing wave:

The funny thing with me was that I wasn't even looking for jeep videos on YouTube. I was watching gopro videos about skiing/snowboarding and came across one of Eddie's videos by chance. And if the wayalife videos had not been good quality, I probably would have just kept on looking for other videos.

This whole saying is funny to me when I read many of you write "its just the internet" get over it; but It seems to me the owners of this forum (Eddie and Cindy) have worked really hard to make it more like a Jeep Family. If this is incorrect someone let me know.

For me the Jeep Family is what attracted me to stay on this site and I would bet if you polled the daily users I think this sentiment would dominate.

I pose a challenge to anyone who wants to do it. Start a poll with what I mentioned above, after a week, if Jeep Family is not number one, I will log out and never log back in, you guys will never have to hear me and my overly sensitive ass drivel on and on ever again.

Sincerely Mark

Six more day, but it looks like you're right. I will keep my word.

Videos for sure, best you can find to get you hooked up. I also like how Eddie take time to respond on each tech thread, even thought some questions have been answered hundred of times. Also love to see troll post getting torn apart, thats quite entertaining. Cheers!

THE VIDEOS definitely sucked me in along with the awesome write-ups on PROJECT-JK. Keep rockin Eddie and Cindy :standing wave:

What attracted me to WOL?

Definitely the wealth of knowledge and opinion that is reflected in the forum. I visited some others but quickly got tired of postings about "how do I check the air pressure in my spare tire?"

Don't get me wrong - I am a nubie and I am sure that my questions are and will continue to be basic and kind of dumb to most of you.... but I do like the fact that there a lot of experienced jeepers here to learn from!

So, thank each of you for the patience and assistance you have shown so far - I look forward to seeing some of you guys on the trail!!!!!!

To be honest, I was a member of JKF and once Eddie sold that site, well we all know how that turned out don't we? I was soon in search of a better site to visit and gather knowledge and meet good people. I found Wayalife and have wheeled with and met some good people. Can't say the "Family" really attracted me (sorry Army Vet would really hate to see you go :cheesy:) but, I have definitely felt more comfortable here versus other Jeep forums.

Oh and that Overlander guy, he's just a big old bully. A 7 foot tall, hairy, 18-year-old, snot nosed, breath still smells like Similac, BULLY. :bleh:

It started for me at the Tent sale up in Westchester PA ; I noticed people with the shirts "WAYALIFE" logo on them, the phrase was really catchy and when leaving I noticed the logo on some Jeeps so I looked into it, felt comfortable as to how mature everybody was towards each other so I joined the Community and proud be apart of it, since then it has answered a lot of questions whether I ask or read a thread and helped to steer me into buying quality parts, increased knowledge, clarity to my build and provided me with amazing vendors to source it from. It is so true:More than just a Jeep:Rock:🍻
