What ATTRACTED you to Wayalife?

What attracted you to Wayalife....inquiring mind want to know.

The videos from YouTube brought me to the forum, my new JK got me to actually sign up. The more members I meet is what keeps me here. I have met some of the outcasts and can see why they didn't fit in here. Despite how we are perceived on the internet, y'all are great people. Heck, one member even helped me out getting a job at his company very recently! I would like to see the outbursts go away (not the members). Thank you all for being members and being who you are. I hope to meet a lot more of you out on the trail and Suds an Grubs! Oh, most importantly, thank you Eddie and Cindy for keeping this WAYALIFE going for all of us! (Love fest over)
 
The videos and write ups definitely brought me in, the helpful and down to earth people is what kept me. I would have never had my jeep to this point thats for sure.

.......and one click through led to another, and finally I discovered that maybe, just maybe, following the travelling Renaissance Fair circuit and the love of history, fantasy, costuming, and ale was not my life's true calling.

Interesting. I too was searching for something else but ultimately ended up on this forum. It started with a dream of greatness after I saw what was perhaps the most impressive feat of athleticism the world has ever known. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=A2AU2xu3CeQ

From there, my search began. I thought I had found my home with other like minded people. http://www.goswim.tv/forums/2/topics/7601?page=1. That's where I met MTG. We travelled the performance circuit for a while as back up for the star. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=wkCh0bXmFWA. The water was hell on our skin though, so we gave it up and searched for a different Way of Life. That's how we ended up here.

The 3 part Rubicon series was the one that made a lasting impression to the point of no return.
To this day every time I come across someone who ask me what I do with my jeep, I eagerly point them towards those videos.
If that doesn't get you hooked, you can carry on driving your prius

when i bought my first jeep in 2011 . eddie answerd some of my questions about different things that i didnt know as most new jeepers do . he was polite and knew lot about jeeps had a nice jeep all built up yet never seemed to boast about it nor stop him from helping out someone who didnt . When the site opened i registerd in ive learned a lot about my jeeps just using the forum it is a valuable tool when ever your looking to solve a issues
or just scout around for ideas , and see what others have done with thiers

When I first got my jeep I was so excited to get the lift and start modding it. I wish I would have found Wayalife before I got my work done. I ended up joining a few different forums and I gravitated towards JK forum, but when I saw most of the old members and Wayalife had created a new site I joined because of the great write ups, wealth of knowledge, friendliness, good responses I received, and the mature attitude of everyone.
