Thanks as much as I like the jl 4 door there just something about the simplicity of the TJ it’s still my favorite.

I’ve always wanted to get a TJ, YJ or similar but the practicality of the 4 door always comes first for me. One day I’ll get one! I bought YJ years ago before the kids came but it died before I could even drive away from the buyers house it drove fine on the test drive.

I heard a pop, then smoke starting coming out and fluid leaking underneath. Good thing I was in a parking lot and not on the freeway.

Not sure what my advice is worth around here, but along the same lines as your meme, I would say don’t buy yourself a Jeep as a retirement present. It will be in the shop more than you will get to drive it. My experience anyway.
Should’ve just hung on to my 2011 Sahara Unlimited with 148,000 miles on it.
