Power Tools

How is legit specs a marketing scheme? I have harbor freight tools and Milwaukee, they both do the same things, doesn't mean they are equal.
Yeah you aren't comprehending what I am saying.

Where have I said they are equal?

I said for what I do they are comparable. And been saying (without saying it) if you aren't using them everyday or even every other day Skil will get you by.

Hell if you could comprehend what I have been saying, you would also see where I stated:

"That said, would I use the Skil if I was a professional construction worker or mechanic and had to every day? Probably not. But if I was in a pinch, I would."

An if you could comprehend that they are NOT comparable. Just because you have a drill/driver of two brands doesn't make them comparable. You replaced you Milwaukee use with Skil and trying to say they work and are comparable. Its not. They are not in the same league.

yeah, for what I have in mind - I'd be better off with a 240v I think - it'll more than pay for itself

As a plus, you can use the 240v to charge your electric car.

Yeah, I clearly stated for what I do, but don't let that get in your way of a good argument.

Just to slow it down for you, "they are comparable for (the work) I do."

Nicely done.

Just to be clear, I don't have to justify anything to anyone.

I just don't get sucked into brand loyalty, when it comes to tools.

It's all preference and what application use that you are needing them for.

Hence the reason I have both.

It's just like I don't need a worm drive circular saw to cut plywood. But it does a much more efficient job when cutting thicker hardwoods.
