Umm, am I missing something here?I also know a guy with an owners manual and the internet who hopefully can fix it.
So you do agree that it has death wobble though? Was hoping it wasn’t just because I only have one usable arm to drive with.![]()

Agree with this.Always use the owners manual. For installing Jeep parts I’ll use the internet or YouTube mainly Eddie and Cindy’s videos.
…And this. 5w0 gorilla glue in the winter.Stock jeep, owners manual. Heavily modified jeep, whatever makes it not fall apart. Could be gorilla glue in the motor if thats what it takes.
No, was just poking fun because we couldn’t get it to wobble on the pristine hiway by him. Same hiway in my area is nothing but seams, and they get it to wobbling real good (or bad).Umm, am I missing something here?![]()
Speaking of service manuals, I own a bunch for old Jeeps and have to say, they are WAY better than what is available online from the factory these days.Owners manual and my mechanical training. Stick with what the engineers recommend as far as fluid to be used an then my knowledge to know to change it more often than what they say lol
As far as parts install goes these days will check out some videos or tips to get it assembled and installed quicker. Someone else always finds a quicker and easier way than what the service manual says
LOL - well ya know, if it's said on the internet, it has to be trueAin't nobody got time to read the owners manual! Spending days and weeks finding the correct answer on the Internet is the way to go!![]()
In all seriousness, you can't go wrong following the owners manual. Nothing wrong with overkilling fluid changes either. Oil is cheap!LOL - well ya know, if it's said on the internet, it has to be true![]()
Unless it's oil for the 392. That stuff is kind of pricyIn all seriousness, you can't go wrong following the owners manual. Nothing wrong with overkilling fluid changes either. Oil is cheap!
I change the oil in the 392 once a year whether it needs it or not. That's about every 2000 miles. LOLUnless it's oil for the 392. That stuff is kind of pricy![]()
