Random (non-Jeep) Shit You’re Working On....

Did you happen to run any electrical outlets to your island?
Have three outlets. One for each dishwasher and one for a disposal which we won’t have so have an extra. Nothing mounted to the surface or to the sides since the side mounts are against code. We could add one in the future to the side I guess if I wanted but we have enough outlets on the walls and have a huge wall in pantry that’ll have countertops and outlets.

They're nice having under the seating area to plug in phones and laptops. The new outlets with usb slots are pretty handy

Looks great. Did you do those yourself or sub them out? Doesn't seem like you've been building for 22 months but im sure for you guys it feels like 22 years being cooped up in a 5th wheel. Place looks great.
Nah we had the granite guys we bought them from install them. I have no way of cutting the slabs or pulling them together for the seam.

No one is fessing up but the toilet tank in my hallway bathroom got busted late Wednesday night. Flooded half the house but at least I have hard floors throughout the main part of the house.

Had to police up all the water and get to bed since I got up at 2:45 to cook thanksgiving dinner.

Today I ran to Ace Hardware, bought new terlets and got them installed

Pretty clean crack. A couple of your guests got a little freaky in the bathroom. 😂

Always liked the taste of summer sausage but whatever binder they use on commercial stuff makes it feel like the fats are stuck to my mouth and teeth. I quit eating it for that reason.
That’s my thing with it.
We used beef suet 80/20. It didn't have the same "oily stickiness" of store bought if that's what you're saying. It seemed "drier" than commercial but richer flavor. Came out perfect sliced at 1/8" with cheese and cracker.

Something I’ve needed on the truck for a while.

Glad to not have those stock Ford candle sticks anymore.
But do you notice a difference behind the wheel? Other than the temperature of the light. Is it actually easier to see?

I like the warmer ones more personally and haven’t found a good set to give MORE light rather than whiter.
