Coolant color contemplation

Last radiator drain came out like the pic below so I'm gonna keep going for now until it's much clearer. When I called them they gave me a part number that matches the 50/50 mix of 5 year 100k. I don't think I added much of the 10 year stuff to really make a difference but who knows. If the damn Tstat or heater core wasn't so hard to get to I'd flush it the right way but for now I'm gonna stick with running distilled through it until clear. Not hard just time consuming. If you’re still around, any issues after the coolant flush? My 2015 AEV 5.7 needs a flush, but this whole OAT vs HOAT issue is worrying. So AEV used HOAT on 2015 builds even though OAT was used on the 3.6s at the time? Mine looks orange, so this is frustrating.

I would just flush it really well with water and put auto parts store coolant in.

I’m tempted to, but as OP mentioned in this thread, there’s just little room to maneuver inside these engine bays with the hemi’s. Trying to get to the block drains or heater core connections seems daunting.

I flushed it the best I could like 3 times then filled it with what that year motor was supposed to have. If I remember correctly it was a 2014 GC motor so I filled it with the 12+ coolant and called it a day. Never had issues

Thanks. I’m confident now that the AEV rep who gave you the 5-year coolant part number was just plain wrong. Per the AEV builder kit installation manual, it states the following, that you should use the coolant originally spec’d for the model year…

Pre-assemble AEV coolant bottle and install. Will need to re-use the original coolant bottle tube and cap from the factory coolant bottle. Use only MOPAR Coolant for your model year Jeep. DO NOT mix coolant from different model years. Other brands may harm the seals or cause cooling problems.

So I have the 10-year coolant ready to go for a few flushes on my 2015. Thanks.
