What was done to your rig this week?

Heck yeah rocking the best now, looks great Mike!
Thanks, Presley! Yeah, think I’m gonna like them.
Oh Ok that makes sense I remember you saying something about that before. Good thing I don’t see too much snow down here lol
They’re not bad tires for asphalt, rocks and dirt. If I had a truck as a second vehicle, I’d run them.
Looks great!!! I loved every aspect of TG’s.
Did you take the old once apart yourself or took it to the shop?
Thanks, Andy. Yeah, did it myself. I used my hi-lift and bumper shackle to break the rear bead and a bucket, couple pry bars and soapy water to pull the front out. The Ridge Grapplers were surprisingly easy to take apart compared to the STT Pros I had before; the beads on those things were a pain in the ass to deal with.

Doing some maintenance and prepping for Utah snow.

Going to test/measure coils for proper weight. The front sticks up about 2 in higher than the rear.

Front 200/250 but rears are 200/200.

They've been that way since I had the long arm installed and it's something I've been meaning to address for a very long time.

passenger side upper control arm and coils are rubbing, not sure how I am going to address since moving the axle one side of the other will cause one or the other to rub more, any tips would be appreciated.

Found this lift at Autozone, on sale $200, has a 35" lift, the top part swivels as shown or flat, heavy duty and no janky lifting (y)

Can lift higher than shown but the coilovers are hanging as this height.

I used my hi-lift…

Honestly the only reason I still have a Hi-Lift is for exactly this- busting the bead when dismounting tires from beak-lock wheels.

Not hating on Hi-Lifts at all. I have used them over the years to jack up vehicles to stuff branches and rocks under tires as well as in place of a Come-Along before I had a winch.

I do think using a Hi-Lift Jack to change a tire when you have a suspension with big travel is pretty iffy. 🤣😂

Nice! I’ve had the same tiny jack for so long. Such a pain…need to upgrade.

Yea I basically only use my hi-lift for breaking the bead when changing tires.

Also used it one time to lift the corner of the deck when my dog was little and got stuck under there…

I gave my high lift and the kit it came with away this past summer and kind of regret doing so.

But I bought it in 2010, never used it, and never took the wire wrap off of it nor the cardboard wrapping around the kit.

I bought a bead breaker tool to break the beads, works well.
I'm going to try a different approach this time; keep the wheels on the jeep, jack the axle, remove the air from the tires, remove the ring and lower the Jeep to see if I can break both beads at once.

That’s a damn good idea. I will try that next time.
