Back in the 70's and 80's, he did an hour long show at midnight that highlighted all kinds of funny songs and parodies. Things like Weird Al songs come to mind or even Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, Fish Heads or the Homecoming Queen's got a Gun. Things like that.

Actually, in the LA area, he was on KMET

KROQ was more Richard Blade, the Poorman, Jed the Fish and Kevin & Bean.

Yeah for some reason I thought I heard him there. Looked it up you are correct. Being in Ventura some of the LA stations didn’t come in very well but I know I’d listened to his show numerous times.

It's a funny thing but in Ventura, you could almost get 91X down in San Diego about as good as KROQ but yes, he had a fun show.
