Project ACCUAIR

It is possible to make a minor adjustment to the default ride height and even make corner corrections to compensate for things like gastank lean. We will show this in our upcoming video. However, I don't think you can go higher than what is default and really, if you want to go lower, setting #1 (which is 2" lower than default) is something you can drive on all day everyday and without having to touch a thing. For around town and on the highway, that's kind of where I've been leaving this Gladiator set at.
I was wanting to default setting #1 for the lower ride rather than having to select it every time I got in or does it keep the last selection chosen?

Setting #2, the default ride height, is what the system will put you back to and automatically IF you were to lower your Jeep to the bump stops or raise it to the maximum height, setting #3 and only if you start driving 25 mph or faster. IF you select setting #1, it will stay there permanently, even if you turn off your engine or start it up again. They only time it will go back to setting #2 is if you press #2.

for me, the lowest setting as a daily driver is appealing as hell.

Awesome. That's what I was hoping for.

Hey everyone, I just got done talking to ACCUAIR and if their suspension system is something you're interested in buying, they are now offering WAYALIFE members a discount! Simply go to their website and enter in the code WAYALIFE5 when checking out! (y)

Just ordered!

Thanks!

So, after seeing "all the fun" that Cindy and I have been having out in the desert, ACCUAIR wanted to see how their shocks have been holding up. Needless to say, they sent out a brand new set of their production shocks, asked for the original prototypes to be shipped back and to do some real R&D. Anyway, here are some pics of what we got.

And, here they are installed.

I should note that there were some vague hints about "optional" upgrades they've already been working on and to help with the "fun". 😁 Hoping to see something by Moab. (y)

They look pretty nice honestly for a monotube shock. I'm curious as to how they'd ride on a normal spring setup as well 🤔

Super cool to see ACCUAIR constantly working to make the product better and letting you guys literally beat on the system to find improvements. Other shock options would be really cool for sure.
Yeah, I'm really surprised that they're doing this being that it really isn't necessary. I really don't think MOST people will ever drive their Jeeps this hard. But, they seem really excited and eager to make improvements anyway and possibly, some significant ones.

Just thought I would post an update on the ACCUAIR JT. As you know, we left it with the shop in Vegas just before Christmas so that they could look into the sound we were hearing and have new 1350 drive shafts made and installed. Long story short, they ended up taking apart the whole rear end and found what they thought was a flat spot on a pinion bearing. Needless to say, they replaced it and the crush sleeve.

Last week, we finally got a chance to pick up the JT and here are a few shots of the new 1350 rear drive shaft.

And, here are a couple of the front.

Hey Eddie, how long do you think the stock JT drive shafts will last before needing to replace them? Or, should 1350s be part of the build plan at the start?
