Only reason I still have mine.Amen.
Refuse to use it. Hate that certain companies only have it and no website.

unfortunately, the Constitution only protects from the government censorship.
however, what they are doing is editorial and section 230 should no longer apply to any tech company because of their censorship and "fact checkers" that couldn't fact check their assholes if they were staring at it in a mirror
A post from last year? WTF
yet every bullshit liberal/democratic post is fine... copy any anti-Trump post verbatim and insert biden's name and it will get flagged
Facebook is a private company, not a government or quasi government entity, or a public space like a park or sidewalk. They can “censor” whatever they want, just as a church, business, or other private property owner can restrict what happens on their property. Or just as a newspaper can reject any opinion pieces submitted by third parties. If someone doesn’t like how Facebook operates, don’t use it. Seems pretty simple. Just like if you don’t like CNN, FOX, etc., don’t watch them.

While I agree with you the problem is they aren’t consistent in their censorship nor do they have the ability to review every piece of content the same as any other social media but people rely on them for news.
They should stop Facebook from being able to promote news stories so people know it’s all opinions and not facts.

Who’s “they?” If you’re talking about the government, that WOULD be censorship. I’d rather private companies and people be able to “censor” or “promote” whatever they want than have some government bureaucrats or, even worse, elected hacks, decide what gets censored or promoted. We just went through four years with a demagogic president totally detached from the truth and the law. Imagine if he was your “they,” with the power to tell media platforms what they could and could not post or allow to be posted. Other countries have had that in the past and it usually doesn’t end well for a lot of people. No thanks.
If people unquestionably rely on a single source like Facebook (or insert any other social media platform here) for their “news,” then they are stupid. Plain and simple. You can’t legislate or regulate away stupidity.
