Edit: The league should have suspended the trade deadline or invoked some kind of emergency trade rule to handle this scenario. But I thought they expanded the practice squad so that this scenario could be avoided?

Thanks for the reply... Just for the record, full blown Black and Gold Saints fan here... also, I’ve got to agree with your statement about the trade deadline or emergency trade. I don’t want to see any team be hamstrung by this virus. Actual physical injuries have their own consequences, but this stuff is unprecedented.

If the Saints win, it will be a hollow victory, if they lose it will sting greatly, even though Brees isn’t at the helm.

This is so ridiculous. On one hand, the Broncos get totally shafted by having to play a tomato can at QB, and on the other the Ravens get extra time because a dumbass staffer infected everyone? I'm certainly not for a forfeit, but they should have played yesterday/today with whatever they had. The NFL caved because a bunch of the Ravens players bitched and moaned it wouldn't be competitive.

That Broncos game was hard to watch. Definitely a hollow victory for the Saints.

But I have to agree with you, the Ravens should’ve played just like the Broncos had to.

Of course it’s not televised in my house since I have Direct TV and they are in contract dispute at the moment
