How wide is the step on the slider and do you know if the JL version is wider then the JK version? Can you get a good part of your foot on the step? How have they held up so far?

That was labor intensive...and sharp looking too

Not real hard to install but a lot of steps for sure! :icon_crazy:

Looks great! Hopefully they hold up well. How are the sliders mounted on Moby? Body or frame?

Moby is running the EVO frame mounted sliders and their rock skins.

What RESURECTIONJK said, they're frame mounted on Moby and we are running skins as well. :yup:

You guys have the best videos in the business, hands down! Thanks again for sharing them all with us!

Thank you! We're truly flattered that you would say as much

I've talked to Kingsize about these and was told if I wanted sliders for rock crawling to wait for the weld ons. Are you worried they will flex into the body?
Also how are they as a step?

Actually, after spending a week in Moab and banging on them pretty damn hard, I'm happy to say that these rocker guards have held up surprisingly well. I literally hit them hard enough to click my teeth and other than some scratches - no problems and NO body damage. As far as them being used as a step goes, they work better than any tube slider I've run to date.

Man those are super sweet looking!

They really are. :yup:

They look awesome!

It's a big part of why we got them. Love how they look.

I don't know how wide the JK ones are but these seem to offer a decent amount of step or at least, for our needs. Also, they've been holding up surprisingly well and I do say surprising being that I wasn't too sure about them :yup:

Teeth chatter is good, it means sliders are solid. I'll probably go with these for the step alone.

Finally watched this video. Those look sharp. The installation looked to be pretty time consuming..haha. Several more steps than the poison spider ones I have installed on my JK. I thought the comment about someone with big hands was pretty funny. I used the "tool" that came with the rocker guards which was as you described. It wasn't accurate at all and have one nutsert that spins. The astro tool sure made it go quick and easy.

Its been a few months, do you still like them? Any issues?

Eddie, or anyone with experience with both of my items in question, I'm torn between Lod frame mounted and these. I need to get something for a step for Alex pretty soon here, not the end game and while ultimately ill put on the EVO frame mounted sliders (if they ever make it to the market), i also want something that will hold up to some abuse along the way. I think if i go this route I will hold off on the skin portion for right now, but would you say this offers a bigger step than the LOD ones? Also, these seem to have held up pretty well for you, any issues?

You need the skins with these.

What Adam said ^^^^

So far, mine have held up well but only because I have the skins. The two tie in together to help make a stronger rocker guard. As far as steps go, I find that both do a good job but these might do a bit better being that they're flat on top and all the way across.

LOL - it really isn't so bad and I confirmed with EVO that if you want to move over to frame mounted sliders in the future, the skins for it will bolt up to the same holes.

That's good to know, I think this is the way I will go here soon. Seems like a better step and i honestly don't love the LOD ones, not sure why, they seem very high quality but just don't do it for me.

The LODs are good sliders and we've punished ours and they've held up well. Bubba at Exodus was running a set on the JKX and you can see them doing their job as well. If you don't mind drilling 1 hole in your frame, I still have my old LODs in my garage and you can install them and test them out if you want.
