Random (non-Jeep) Shit You’re Working On....

Not sure if this should go here but yeah:
Strained my back this morning. Kinda fucked up how it happened. Doing some landscaping decided to plant this 3” tree by hand. Moving the rootball into the 4’x4’ hole I’d just dug and felt something give between the shoulders. Painful as fuck.

I’m lying [emoji1781]. All I did was reach over to give the toilet that extra flush after the morning business. That’s a fucked up way to mess up my back the day before I go on vacation. [emoji22]

I feel your pain. I've thrown my back out by putting away a pan lid before. Not sure what hurt worse... My back or my ego. [emoji23]

Hooked
Meant to snap some pics but forgot. Friday morning after doing an oil change on the jeep I tore apart the carb on my pressure washer and cleaned the varnish out of it. Once I had it back together I climbed up on the roof with it and pressure washed my fascia to prep for paint. While I was up there I also cleaned out the roof valleys and some of the gutters. After it dried I went and pounded in loose nails, scraped looses paint (fortunately it was in decent shape) and filled the cracks with calking. Then yesterday morning I planned on getting up early to get it painted but found my kitchen sink full of water so I spent an hour snaking the drain. After I got that taken care of I went and painted. By 10:30am it was pretty much too hot (paint was getting chunky) but had just finished the section I wanted to. I do have to say using Sherwin Williams top of the line paint worked great. I'd highly recommend it. Being that I don't want to have to repaint the fascias any time soon I didn't want to cheap out on that. Probably could have gotten away with one coat but I did two to ensure good coverage.

I threw mine out while brushing my teeth years ago. Dropped me right to the floor.

That dude from Mississippi
Got finished up in the nursery. The Jeep is on the mountains. I’m not much of an artist, but I’d think it was cool, if I were a little boy.

I really need to tear the drywall out of mine. What are you going back with?

Going with white panel board. The white reflects the light so it stays bright in there and I don't have to mess with mud/texture/etc. I already did some of the other walls with it and white pegboard and it works good enough for now.

Looks great. Enjoy every minute.

There isn't a low point drain you can connect a garden hose to?

Yes. But it requires removing a large part of the deck (the deck boards are pre-fastened into a large section so that section can be removed as an assembly) and then another access panel. This is way easier.

Also built a 'take off your shoes' entry bench in the garage. Been bugging me for months not having it.
