Yup, you are right about the JK. It did have body mounts I think in addition to the frame. Who knows, that might make the thing stronger but I just dont like any body mounting points. They didnt have a video for the JL model testing it so maybe it isnt as strong...dunno, but it should be given the mounts appear to be the same as the signature.
