Yes my camera has gotten alot of use.. the sunrises an sunsets have for the most part been great and I've played some with camera settings for a different feel here an there ..

Very cool! I’ve always loved photography, but it’s been a few years since I actually used a camera since the iPhone takes decent pictures...

Just found this thread.. I am in for the duration. You are doing what I plan to do in retirement. I retire real soon.... only working 25 more times... Then when my wife retires (3 years from now), we are hitting the road with the motorhome and a Rubicon. We plan to off road and explore from Arizona to Alaska. Basically all the western states. I have been reading the jeep forums and making list of places that are a must see.

Loving the photos and keep up the commentary, You are inspiring others to get out from behind the desk, off the couch and out of the house.

Thanks ... so far things have been pretty decent .. plenty to enjoy no doubt .. glad folks here are enjoying it right along with me so to speak.. I honestly feel the best is yet to come on this journey .. Tetons,Yellowstone, Glacier, Crater Lake ,Thors Well and some other coastal sights in Oregon before working down in a crisscross of California an Nevada ..

Today is moving day .. time to head into those mountains you see just peeking out above the smoke an foggy haze that has been a daily thing each morning AdobeLightroom.jpgAdobeLightroom.jpgand once more a awesome sunrise .. almost hate to leave this spot due to getting some really good sunrises and sunsets but I know there are plenty more waiting down the road

Well made it Ouray .. amphitheater campground was full up so wound up out the dirt road on the right .. spotty signal up there so updates will come in bursts... buncha road work right by the apline loop entrance so expect delays if your coming In or want to run it .. 20180806_161543.jpgfrom the looks of it should be able to get some good star shots ..

Man live with no regrets ... I can honestly say I have none .. some may consider me a fool for quitting my job and going on the road like I have ( heck I do mostly as the jeep isn't paid off and I'm gonna struggle like a mf when I get home ) but I dont regret it one bit ..
I'm happy that I have been able to inspire not just you but the others who have said I have done so ..
My passion is shooting pics such as that one that are able to do just that inspire and make one think .. till now I've never pursued it like I should have simply as the time was never right until now where I've decided I should ...
At some point during this trip I plan to make a site and when that happens I will let folks know so they can msg me for it to check it out if they wish ..
