So my Mile Marker took a crap again...Actually I think it is the controller again...Never the less we are heading out next week for a run and would rather have a working winch...Can ANYONE recommend a good winch for around 500.00. I will be going with the Warn Power Plant when I get my JK...BUT in the mean time I am looking for an inexpensive reliable winch...

Thanks David....

I've been looking for titan winches for a long time, did lot of reading and asked lot of questions to those who own one. Now i'm pretty convinced that its gonna be my next purchase. They have bearing mounted gears, double lip seals, waterproof 500A solenoid, synt rope w/ hook and sleeve, wired and wiireless controler..and man, they're cheap!

the product: TW 12 w/syntec rope 650$ CAD

You are in Oregon, support your local company. WARN. Should be able to pick up an M or VR for that and be able to easily sell it and recover soem good $ when you upgrade later on.

I would just go with a Warn the one you want, then transfer it over to your JK once you get it that way your not buying it twice! :thumb:

as mentioned, i personally would still go with a warn. they now have more affordable models and i would look at them first. or, if you can afford to get a powerplant, i would do that and then just transfer it over as mentioned.
