Not the typical Irish whiskey. Was in the airport lounge and got the bartender to crack this open and a free pour.

I’ll be getting a bottle for home for sure. Very tasty and super smooth.

It's one of those days. Feel like shit closing the night, definitely getting some sort of flu/cold bug, so it's time for a Hot Toddy or three to end the night. Maker's Mark is my go to whiskey. I use the cheaper of the three bottles I have for mixed stuff.

Lately, I have tried some of Jim Beam’s newer blends. I only drank Jim Beam in college, because it was cheap. The new Jim Beam Black, and Jim Beam Distiller’s Cut are pretty good, at that price point.

I'll be in Maui in a few weeks. Anywhere worth looking to pick up bottles I can't find in MD? I'd like to find something nice to crack open on a special occasion while on Big Island the following week.

We're renting a 2 door JL. First time in a JL, first time in a 2 door in over a decade.

Nice. Go to Roys in Kaanapali best molt and lava cakes. The blonde bartender name Jenna makes great old fashions. Also, check out The Dirty Monkey in Lahaina, its a whiskey bar across from Kimos which is a all around good place to eat and drink as well.

Their poke tacos are bomb there. 🤤

Star noodle is super good too. I could crush about fifty of their pork buns right now.
