Catching up on one of my favorite threads. That T handy is great. One of the whiskey stores I frequent has a bottle. Just can’t get myself to pay that price for a bottle. I’ll probably cave at some point. Lol.

Its msrp is like $105. Hold your ground and maybe they’ll bring it down off the shelf and offer it to you at a reasonable price.

Took some friends to dinner last night and while in their whiskey bar I found these. The bourbon was really good and the rye was good but I’m not the biggest rye fan.

Frey is my goto bourbon. It’s inexpensive and easily tastes as good as most $100 bottles (to my taste anyway).

A small part of a much bigger loft project is complete. The bourbon bar was a priority of course. just added the last few shelves tonight and very happy with how things turned out.
This used to be our downstairs entertainment center. With some moderate modifications, it now holds 40 bottles of wine (plan is to add another much larger wine fridge to another space in the loft), and plenty of top shelf and daily sippers.
Treating myself to a pour of Elmer T Lee. Which is mighty tasty.

yeah. Not cheap. I saw one about 6-7 months ago and didn’t pull the trigger. Came across a bottle couple weeks ago for $150 more than I saw it before. I think the recent one had it priced at $325, which seemed too high.
I’m going to be on the lookout now that I have a couple solid reviews behind it.
