The I visited another groups event here in Qatar. Could not make the drive and bbq as I had an overland trip later that day. It was good to meet the guys from the Qatar jeep club.

Anza Borrego desert split mountain to sandstone canyon and a bombing range on a route we took from plaster city to ocotillo wells. Apparently they collect all the shells they've used and fence them in.

Those are dummy test munitions that are dropped from aircraft to test accuracy etc. etc.

Made a run on 2N17X to 2N33 in the San Bernardino County Forest near Lake Silverwood in So. Cal. Beautiful day for wheeling! Met a group that we were able to trail, picked up some good techniques and a little of what not to do! Bad day for a few of the guys that laid their rigs on their sides...
