How was ellis peak? I was thinking about doing this soon, worth the trip?

The Rubicon springs side is a bit rocky, but nothing too challenging. the opposite side is mostly just dirt road, and dusty as hell. There's not much room to turn around up at the top. I think next time I would park at the bottom of that last little stretch and just walk up. The view is pretty awesome up there. There's several small lake/ponds in the area too. I'd say it's worth check out at least once.
