What was done to your rig this week?

Removed my roof rack. I'm going to replace the bolts with stainless ones and replace the busted nylon washers.

My rubicon express 2.5" lift is here. It's getting installed Friday.

Planning on going searching for a Ford 8.8 to replace my D35 soon.

I built a mount on the back rack to carry my Echo battery chainsaw. It leaks a little bar oil, so don't like it inside the jeep...problem now solved. The handle is about 3 inches above the top of the jeep (looks like more because of the angle of the picture), but the thumb screw that holds the bar tight to the mount is pretty quick and simple to release, so I will just cut any low hanging branches that my damage the saw or NX top. Love the battery saw, as you just pull the trigger and start cutting, and no 2 stroke gas to carry. Battery lasts a long time, so I've never run out of battery charge on a wheeling trip.

Knocked out a 4 inch lift.. new steering stabilizer, new front calipers, brakes all the way around, and cleaned it up a bit..

Got a call from the dealership. The TIPM in the JK took a shit and now they think the wiring harness has a short in it too. Hoping this was the cause of all the issues.

Installed a new clutch this week. My throw out bearing exploded. While I had the tranny out I decide to replace my mangled cross member.

Powder coated the bumper and rattle canned the lower skid and sliders and powder coated the rear bumper. The bumpers had spots I couldn't fully coat with a spray can so PC was the better choice on those. I dont want to see a speck of rust on any of this after all the work

Now all I have left to do is everything.

Awesome! I can't wait to see the finished products. I am likely going with the same front bumper and the EVO low angle sliders. I'm still on the fence about the EVO PRO rear bumper. Can't wait to see some good pics of it! Looking great so far!

Work dictated I am driving more highway miles these days so I gave up my 37x12.50x17 Nitto Trail Grapplers and now sporting some new 35x12.50x17 BFG KO2's. Dramatically changed the look of the Jeep, was kinda shocked, but after driving home!! WOW, I'm sold! Also went from 14-15 mpg highway to 18-19 mpg highway, wasn't expecting that hit I'll take it too!

Are you running the same gears as with the 37s? What gear ratio are you running? I don't even get 19 mpg with a bone stock JKU lol!

Yeh sorry still running the 4:88 G2 gears from the 37's have K&N air filter with AEV snorkel and MBRP Rock exhaust so not sure how much those are helping too but they were all here when I had the 37's too only recent change was the tires.

Or possibly didn't reprogram for new tire size so mile calculation is elevated? I'm not 100% sure I have that straight in my head...

I have the SuperChips programmer and did readjust for tire size. All I can say is when it was stock I was getting around 18-20 on highway. It's Florida so super flat. Cruising speed on highway is 70-75 mph. 118,000 miles new since 2012 starting at 27 miles on it. This is just like stock ride, and passing more gas stations than before.

Just you guys don't think the sun has gone to my head down here I'm not making this up I swear!

Lol I was just curious, nothing more. I'll be regearing to 4.88s as well and initially run 35s, then possible bump to 37s when I get the front axle swapped out. I hope I have the same results. I used a ProCal in the past and considering the Superchips Flashcal this time around.
