Jeep looks great! Nice job with the fenders. How do you like the Poison Spyder bumper? I'm trying to decide to go with either the hinged carrier or the one you have. Wife wants the hinged, I kind of prefer what you have.

I like it. Just when you put the tire on make sure you push it back to where the rubber will hit the carrier itself so it doesn't wobble like crazy. I got this version cause I do not trust the ones that connect to the tailgate plus I like the web lol. also get different washers fr the bolts that connect the bottom of the bumper to the crossmember because the supplied ones are weak and bend into the holes.

Thanks for the info, and thanks for the tip on the washers. I'm not too worried about the back gate because all the weight will be on the bumper, but I am a bit worried about not being able to lock the carrier open and having that thing swing around.

Just installed my Tuffy Center Console Insert. I really just wanted something hidden and easy to access that I could store cash, CC's, DL, iPod and iPhone. It should be pretty secure although I am only using the 4 stock T-20 bolts right now. For the smash and grab type of thieves it will be fine. I think I will drill the the two optional holes at some point, but my Jeep is never really in a situation that any thief would have enough time to get what they want.
