What was done to your rig this week?

Nothing really exiting but I did plastidip the jeep emblem and removed the stock exhaust then put it back on, probably going to wait till I have the funds to buy an exhaustImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1445550471.951247.jpg

Installed a Poison Spyder rear bumper/tire carrier/high lift mount. Just need the plug for the license plate and some lights. I didn't think that far ahead, lol. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1445658581.630595.jpg
 
I made a trunk shelf for my 2 Dr! Help make some of that vertical space more usuable. And it is easily removable of need be.

To be honest I got the light bar off amazon (cheaper light bad) and I just drilled some holes through the bumper and just mounted it using the bolts that came with the bar ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1445703495.210624.jpg

It's hard to see but just little brackets that hold it up

Are you asking if I could leave the factory air on and change out the OEM filter with another filter, like a drop in K&N filter? If so, I actually had been doing that. I would replace with a K&N when I took it off-road and then pulled it and put the factory back in when I was done. What I did notice is that in the factory air box I was seeing dirt internally in the box and you'll notice in the video there is actually some dirt in the throttle body. I wanted to get something better to protect the engine. I really only drive the Jeep when I take it to go off-roaring.

Are you asking if there is a permanent filter solution so that you could not switch out filters? If so, I don't know. I think R2Cs item is that you are able to swap out for even better protection when off-road. Beyond that I could not say, you may want to see if you can e-mail or call them to see if they make a different setup.
